Tegan and Sara
So Jealous

It is amazing how Canadian sister act Tegan and Sara could have flown underneath the radar for so long - this certainly is one plucky sounding album! Even more surprising is the fact that “So Jealous” is their fourth album. I can honestly say that there is not one bad tune contained within from the pop rock rave ups of “Speak Slow” and “Take Me Anywhere” to the gentle beauty of “Fix You Up”, this album almost plays like a “Greatest Hits” collection! For the EMO Rock fans out there, T & S have that covered as well with “Walking With A Ghost” and “I Can’t Take It”; why let Coldplay and Travis have all the gloomy fun! Oh, and their vocal harmonies are nothing short of sublime!

Tegan and Sara make an incredibly strong showing here by showing that Female artists can have intelligent, well written and rocking songs without being strictly limited to acoustic guitar balladry. Highly, highly recommended! The band is currently opening for The Killers on their sold out US tour.
