Museum of Science
Oblique Music for Soundtracks That Don't Exist

Call it hip-hop for those who don’t really like hip-hop, Museum Of Science comes out of left field with noisy inventiveness, inspired moments of instrumentation and a wicked sense of humor.  Their closest kin would have to be “Hello Nasty” era Beastie Boys, but even the Beasties don’t have titles quite like “Dance Kamp”, “Bad Thai” or “Cowboy Dick”.

Top tracks include “How To Win (An Oscar)” that culminates in a rock and roll throwdown before the close, the instantly repeatable “Phizzuck” and “Scuba”, the hilarious cashier monologue of “Paper Or Plastic?” and the unsettling “Oh, Excuse Me Ricky”, utilizing soundbites of a woman who has walked in on a boy... uh... er... handily expressing himself.

Museum Of Science is recommended for anyone tired of bland, stolen beats and braggart, witless banter. A welcome surprise!
