Just when you think that Christmas couldn’t get any more shades in its music, on steps Dan Finnerty, to the stage to sing songs of, uh, ill-repute. Dan Finnerty is a comedian who has been seen on Old School, and in various projects. On his currently available album of irreverent Xmas tunes, where sex, prostitutes, naughty Santa, and pleas are the topics, you’ll have a Santa bag full of laughs…or something.
This album of 10 tracks run the gamut from Christmas joy under the tree (“I Wanna Rock U Hard This Xmas”), to Santa picking up a lady of the night to take care of him and the elves at the Pole (“Ho Ho Ho”), to truce-calling for the holidays (“Please Don’t Bomb Nobody This Holiday”). But through all of the comedy on the album, you’ll find plenty to chuckle about, if not out-loud laugh.
