The brief but ultimately satisfying 5-track CD sampler from See Green (led by Courtenay Green) provides a collection of excellent Power Pop/Rock cuts, every one a well-honed and perfect tune.  The '80s radio was awash in these kinds of songs that immediately got you to boppin' even if it was only in your car.  Regardless, Violet is a solid, if not perfect, extended single with some very accessible tracks.

Currently, The Ting-Tings are leading a resurgence into this kind of music.  Quirky, fresh, and poppy, this brand of happy and fun music puts smiles on your face.  Frankly, I find See Green more talented than The Ting-Tings if these five tracks have anything to say about it.  They're more lively and paint a clearer picture of happier radio Pop music gone past.

If you remember the Go-Go's, Blondie, and every radio-friendly, female-fronted band from that era, then this EP is for you.
