There!
It's finally finished and looking like a nicely formatted report. Here's what I've done. If a title was a multiple vote getter, I listed the title followed by the amount of times it was voted for. You'll find that list at the top, alphatized only if the titles shared a common number of votes. The single vote getters are in the following list and is alphabetized. Let me tell you, this was a work, a REAL job. But I'm glad it's here in it's intended glory!
I'm a little surprised that Waiting For Columbus rated as high as it had (not because I didn't like it). I just figured the "obvious" choices would have been some of the lower selections (KISS, Allman Bros Band, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones) but you folks REALLY liked Waiting For Columbus.
Interestingly, lots of avid support arose for UFO's Strangers in the Night, and, from the voters, a passioned and adamant 3 votes for Live by Status Quo. I am especially pleased to see Humble Pie's Rockin' the Fillmore get the love it did (I didn't expect it), as well as Live Dates by Wishbone Ash. Those two titles are special. All in all, this Poll showed a wide variety of music fans.
Regardless, there are a lot of excellent titles here. This was a lot of fun. Someone recommended that we do a Great Live DVD/VHS Poll. I like that idea because i have a great title in mind already.
If you find that I have not included titles that you have sent in, remind me.

It is our sad job to report that Ronnie James Dio, one of few Metal vocalists that owned the right to be called such, has passed away due to a bout with stomach cancer at the age of 67. Dio's career ran the path through Rainbow, Black Sabbath (where he replaced Ozzy), and eventually, his own namesake, Dio.
His departure creates a notable void in the world of Rock music. Whether you liked him or not, his role was an important one as he helped to shape the evolution of Metal Rock producing a station of fans that were steadfastly loyal.
Ronnie, your contribution to the Great Band will provide a punchier delivery. We will miss you greatly.

Ronnie James Dio
1942-2010
RIP

Are you as excited as I awaiting the remastered and expanded reissue of Exile on Main Street?
