The Poll just gets bigger and bigger. For those that may have missed it, last week, we introduced a Great Live Albums Poll. Since then, my email box has been overflowing with suggestions that will take me the entire weekend to compile for your evaluation on Monday. There are definite leaders in there. And fun ones too.
On Monday, you'll be avalanched with selections, many of which you haven't thought about in ages. Some of them have caused me to dig into my LP collection and get them out again just to explore (with pleasure!) One constant selection is J. Geils Band's 2LP Blow your Face Out. Agreed! I also have a strong love for Live Dates from Wishbone Ash, a love that I'm surprised is shared more than I realized.
It's going to be fun. You're going to love the selections.
The Poll is continuing through the week. If you haven't put in your selections, now is as good a time as ever. Send your Great Live Albums Poll lists as soon as you can to be counted in our Monday (May 10) post.
On another note, I'm still working stuff out on our new Wordpress site, in case you were wondering just what I'm up to with that. My intention is to expand the offerings somewhat but it has to be stuff you want. I'll be playing with it over time and eventually open it up for you to have at.
I'll see you on Friday.

John Dunphy makes it two in a row with his new review of The Grandiose Nowhere by Lacrimas Profundere.

I want to alert TAP readers to the fact that I have finally put together a FaceBook fan page that you can access and join by clicking on the badge below. What this offers is the exact same thing as my Twitter feeds provide and that is first buzz on upcoming releases and free offered downloads, many announcements that beat our main post, sometimes by days. We also provide a Google BUZZ page that expands on most of the Twitter/FB feeds. On Buzz, you can even hear the music stream if a stream is offered. There are still things that I'm working on in the FB page, like calender notes as well as links to great sites like The Second Disc. I invite you to join us at our FB page and bookmark it. Visit it daily and you'll be rewarded with much news and info. Of course, you'll still want to come to the main MusicTAP page for our noisy commentaries. Remember, with our Twitter feeds, you can elect to receive the news bursts as text on your mobile phone keeping you effortlessly up to date with stuff. Lots of choices. Find one, or two, that fits.
