This post puts our Perfect Album Poll to bed. Thanks to reader, Bill B, we now have it sorted alphabetically, by band. The BIG winners were actually tied vote-getters with 21 apiece. Those were Who's Next by The Who, and Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. The closest after those is Abbey Road by The Beatles, with a count of 13. I hope that you've had fun with this one and that some of you may be motivated to picking up one (or more) of these that you may not have previously indulged in. I think that all of the choices were valid. We did add a few from Friday's post as we had a few emails come in over the weekend. Those have been included.

Time/Life Records plan to release two Lone Star records on April 27. They will be Simply The Hits, and Party Heard Around The World.

There is a planned 25th Anniversary Deluxe set coming for Centerfield by John Fogerty. No date set.

Concord Records will release the first Live album by Johnny Lang called Live at the Ryman. This goes on sale on April 20.

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers are set to release their first studio album at some point this spring. The album is called Mojo and is their first in 8 years.

Vagrant Records will release the new album by The Hold Steady on May 4. The album is being called Heaven Is Whenever.

The new album by Keane is expected on May 11 by Interscope Records. It will be known as Night Train.

MVD Visuals will release a new DVD in their Rare and Unseen artists series for The Rolling Stones. The DVD is expected on April 20.

Astralwerks Records with Heavenly Recordings will release a 'best of' for The Doves called The Places Between: The Best of The Doves on April 6.

Tonefloat Records will reissue a batch of classic, OoP Fear Falls Burning titles that include The Rainbow Mirrors a Burning Heart; Woes of the Desolate Mourner (CD/LP); I'm One of Those Monsters Numb With Grace; The Carnival of Ourselves; When Mystery Prevades The Well, The Promise Sets Fire (LP only); and The Amplifier Drone (LP only). Steve Vai will release the remainder performance tracks form his well-received Live in Minneapolis: Where The Wild Things Are tour. The new, 13-track album will be called Live in Minneapolis: Where The Other Wild Things Are, and will release on April 13 via his own Favored Nations label.

A&E Home Entertainment will release a 2DVD set called The Jack5ons: A Family Dynasty featuring The Jacksons on March 30.

Dangerbird Records will release the new album from Minus the Bear called Omni planning the release for May 4.
