Hey everybody...remember me? We've been busy but had a lot of fun with family. But we're back now and so have some things to bring under control. There's enough of it that I'll need a weekend to bring us up to speed. As a result, we'll not do anything today other than bring you up to speed on upcoming releases. We have a new Duane's Pit Stop that will post on Monday along with a handful of reviews.

Rhino Records have some lovely titles coming around that are pretty exciting...as always. Here's a short rundown and date scheme for you.
Al Stewart fans will get two Expanded and Remastered re-issues with The Year of the Cat and Time Passages. These titles, which we'll revisit as more info becomes available, will issue on April 27.
Also from Rhino will be a Jerry Garcia fest with a 6CD All Good Things: The Jerry Garcia Studio Sessions. And that's a whole 'nother collection that begs, for this writer, to be on CD shelves everywhere. This one will be available on April 20, a week earlier than the above mentioned Al Stewart reissues.
Warner Brothers will re-release Seal's Seal IV on April 20 as a Deluxe Edition CD/DVD digipak. Want the extras? Here you go.
A while back, I mentioned a Linda Ronstadt title that just evaporated off the schedules. It's back with the added bonus of a separately purchaseable DVD. The title of the CD, Mi Jardin Azul: Las Canciones Favorites, will be released on April 27. The DVD title, Canciones De Mi Padre - A Romantic Evening in Old Mexico, will be released the same day. See? I came through for ya.
Nonesuch Records will issue a John Adams CD title on April 27 called Road Movies. Nonesuch will also pump out the Sam Phillips issue called A Boot and A Shoe on the same day.
Big Sandy and His Fly-Rite Boys will release their upcoming album, Rockin' Big Sandy, on April 27. These guys have been around a while and are rock a billy styled. You owe it to yourselves to check these guys out.
Judas Priest's Metalogy Box will be issue on May 4. Also being prepped is a DVD video bearing the same title and arriving on the same day.
On Monday, we'll detail the upcoming Lee Michaels 'best of' coming from Shout! Factory including the cover shot of the disc.
Godsmack and their The Other Side will be issued on SACD come May 4.

Hey...we got us a new SACD to announce. On April 6, you'll be able to purchase Dangerously in Love, the 2003 release from Beyonce. This will issue as a Hybrid MultiChannel. A release like this is juts what is necessary to help push the format, no doubt. Good call, Columbia, good call.
Jive Records will release R.Kelly's Chocolate Factory as a DVD-Audio on April 20 as well as Britney Spear's In the Zone on April 20. [02/24]
Jackson Browne's delayed DVD-Audio of Running on Empty gets what is seemingly the final date for it's release. The new date is April 20. The 5.1 Surround mix will be available in 96kHz/24bit while the Stereo mix will be available in a spacious 192kHz/24bit. Also on the set will be over 300 photos and a 10-minute instrumental medley as bonuses. Browne's The Naked Ride Home is still expected to become available as a DVD-Audio as well, perhaps on the same day since it is not long after Jackson Browne's induction into the Hall of Fame. [02/23]
RCA has added a new format to the listings for their upcoming Dave Matthews Band issue, Live at The Gorge. In addition ot being made available as a CD on June 8, it will now also be available as a DVD, same date. Fans, get ready.
But that ain't all. Now, for Elvis fans, RCA has two titles that will make a lot of you all excited and anxious. And here they are -
Elvis' Comback Special - Deluxe Edition - 3DVD
Elvis' Aloha From Hawaii - Deluxe Edition - 2DVD
These sets will be packaged in digipak and will be ready for snatching on June 22. Mark the calendars and be ready.
Virgin has added The Thrills to their output. The DVD will be known as The Outsider DVD and will be a PA title. This one is expected on April 6.
Janet Jackson's now anticipated title Damita Jo on DVD will shift from its March 30 date when the CDs are expected to the pushed back date of August 24.
The VHS issue of Bob Dylan's MTV Unplugged was released on May in 1995. Now you'll be able to update your library with the DVD reissue of that same title scheduled for March 30.
Epic Records will release a Tori Amos DVD called Welcome to Sunny Florida on May 4. More details to follow.

Hi people. And where have I been? Well...literally all over the place. We have wonderful family here, Mom, Aunt and Uncle. And we're just having a blast. Monopolyfests that bring out the evil in us and restaurants and just fun stuff. Of course, it all results in a restricted post but you guys are quite understanding, you always have been.
We'll keep the reviews off the boards for a few more days but we'll be back full bloom on Friday. From that point, it should be regular for a while until...ooohhh, my Hawaii vaca. It's sooo busy but sooo fun.
Nevertheless, we have some news for you. We'll see you again shortly.

Legacy will reissue Johnny Winter's first album for Columbia on May 4. JW fans should all shout a collective WooHoo!! We're gonna get a nice remastered first album.

We have a small list of upcoming DVD issues for you.
Sanctuary will release a DVD for Johnny Cash called The Man, His World, His Music. This retrospective DVD will be released on May 4. It will be issued in amaray and jewel casings.
Sanctuary will also release a title for KMFDM called World War III Tour 2003. This DVD is scheduled for May 4 and will be a 2DVD set.
Ohoh...here comes The Osbournes, well..Kelly at least. Sanctuary has a Live in London DVD in the works for Kelly Osbourne and scheduled for March 23. This set will be issued in amaray and jewel casings with a CLEAN version issuing in amaray casing.
Epic Records will release a Cyndi Lauper DVD called Live at Town Hall on May 4. This title will be issued in amaray casing.
