Wooohh! Well, that problem is now - hopefully - solved. I've isolated 2 new HDs, given up on my other 3 HDs with their wealth of info (no lectures on backups, I'm an idiot), and put together a nice 3Ghz racer. I like the difference...alot! I also upped the RAM and just now have to put in a better video card. We're almost there with the reinstallation of needed software. It's nice to be back in a driver seat so to speak. I'm not a laptop fan. But, we're back.

So, what's been in limbo since our little downfall? Only a few great reviews from our great writers. We also have Duane's Pit Stop. It would have been a good beginning for our re-entry as last week lapsed rather badly but I cannot locate the PhotoShop Elements (yeah, I know...but I'm cheap) disc for reinstallation. I will have this by the weekend at some point and Monday will have those reviews and Duane's Pit Stop. Mega apologies. In the meantime, our Dw posted a Manchurian Candidate review over on The Digital Bits.

We'll see you on Monday when some normalcy will ensue. Ohh, before I forget...who has heard the new remixed Seals & Crofts hit, "Summer Breeze '04." I like it pretty well but wanted to hear your thoughts on the tune. Tell me here.

After putting together the PC, a screamin' 3 Ghz warhorse, the Hard Drives caused the machine to react erratically, including my most recent addition. I'm convinced that it's a resident destructive virus that replicates HD to HD although I thought that was an extinct process. But 3 HDs with the same reaction lead me to discard coincidence and to suspect the seemingly obvious. If I'm crazy, let me know. I don't have a clue otherwise. I purchased a new HD, my 4th, and will keep it isolated from the others.

Thanks for hangin' with me on this. I've received a lot of sympathetic emails concerning my problems, one that I seem to be having more than my fair share of. Thanks for all of them.

Onto the news of which we have some nice notes on. We'll see you as soon as we can.
