April 2, 2004

April 2...the magic date where I age by one Julian calendar year and thus fall further prey to the ravages of time which sumos me brutally year after year. But I'll bet that happens to everyone. All woes aside, we do have a winner in the Guess Matt's Age contest. Before I reveal my actual age let me say that the inflow of emails have been great. And I've known all along that TAP's readership is the best population of individuals known. Many of your guesses were very young and kind (checks are in the mail). Now, the winner of the Josh Groban Limited Edition CD/DVD combo is Pat Mrizek who guessed correctly. We've had about 30 guesses with only 2 correct answers. Again, thanks for all of your birthday wishes. And the correct age is...47. Congratulations Pat...send us your address.

And while we've skimped on today's post leaving out reviews and stuff, we didn't leave without providing you some excellent news on music including some SACD and DVD-Audio news. We'll be back on Monday with some great extras. Be sure to check out the date change for Neil Young's Greendale DVD. And now it's off to the annual reminder.

Now where the hell is that dang Duane at?
