Remember when I used to say "wow, the weekend is upon us again"? Well, when you have just drudgery ahead of you, it's not such a great thing to look forward to. But that ain't for most of you. You're looking forward to this weekend. For those who shift work, enjoy the two day stretch you do get.

We've got reviews and Duane's Pit Stop Notes. We also have a few new interesting bits for you release wise.

Sanctuary Records is checking in with a cool title. On August 5, they have scheduled an upcoming Blues Traveler disc, Truth Be Told. This 11 track, 7th studio album will be welcomed with open arms. They're on tour as well so get out to see them if you can.

The King Biscuit Flower Hour is expanding their catalogue with live archives for Dixie Dregs and Uriah Heep. Additionally, they have put together a 'best of' set called Best of the Best. Those titles are expected on July 22. Also on the 22nd, the expected Jane's Addiction disc, Strays, will be available as a Special Edition. Both regular issue and Special Pak will contain enhanced material.

MusicTAP is going into the sunrise of the weekend with this final announcement. Sting will release a new album on September 23. The album, Sacred Love, will be released by A&M Records and should set Sting fans to anticipating from now until September.

Mobile Fidelity is releasing a John Lennon Gold Disc, Imagine, on July 22. This title is hotly anticipated here at MusicTAP. Not only do we love John Lennon but we also love Mobile Fidelity's loving treatment. Put the two together... Also expected is Aimee Mann's Lost in Space SACD scheduled for July 8.

That Mary Fahl disc is sooooo good. See you Monday. Sorry about the 'Last Post' link. I realized that it got hosed. I'm hoping that my laptop has it intact for restoration. Otherwise, it's lost to the archives forever. Bummer!
