Ramblings...

Will someone stop the the RIAA before they kill themselves. They are going after webcasters who process internet only radios to demand a fee of $1.40 per thousand listeners. The webcasters say that it would hurt them dramatically. Over the air radio pay only $0.70 per thousand listeners (how do they figure that out? <shrug>). While I agree there should be payment, wouldn't it make more sense to allow the radio howevers to help the industry promote music and thus fill the coffers by exposure? Keep the payment scale as it is or raise it a teeny tiny bit but lets have the music flow, OK? -MRowe 10:31a

Has anyone watched the "Osbournes" on MTV? I love that show. It's a very interesting bit of time spent with the family and chronicles their home life and what they do outside of it. It's an unusual show in that it shows Ozzy as human as anyone else. It's a thumbs up for me. -mar 10:39a

There will be a cessation of news and posts for the next 4-5 days. I've had a death in the family and will be unable to update. But I'll post a big one on Sunday evening upon my return. We're gonna be better than ever when we get back.

The site takes on a new design...yeah already...so be patient while the links get fixed and things get put into order. I'm also feverishly cranking the CDs to write those reviews that are on tap. I'll be working on those later today. Have a great rest of the weekend.
